The story was the most read Joyland story that year in the New York section and was featured in the print edition of Joyland Retro Vol. 1 No. 2. It was selected for Longreads, and on Yahoo! -Co-wrote script for New Orleans, Mon Amour, directed by Michael Almereyda and starring Elisabeth Moss and Christopher Eccleston. Premiered at SXSW in 2008.

-Translated poetry and prose for Night Wraps the Sky: Writings by and about Mayakovsky (FSG 2008). Shortlisted for Best Translated Book Prize, 2009.

-Wrote script for Sugar Park Tavern, a short film, directed by Andrew Wonder. Aired on PBS in January 2009.

-Wrote script for Whipped, a short film, directed by Andrew Wonder.
